What is Bukva?
Bukva is an iPhone app for practising Russian case endings and verb conjugation, from A1 to B1. Each session is short: you fill in the missing ending of a real sentence, check it, and read a one-line explanation.
Who is it for?
Learners who know the basics of Russian and keep mixing up endings. You do not need to be a beginner, but Bukva is not a course for people starting from zero.
Does Bukva work offline?
Yes. All exercises are stored in the app, so you can practise without an internet connection.
Which language is the app in?
The interface follows your iPhone's language. English and German are available; any other language falls back to English. You can change it during onboarding or in the settings.
Is my progress saved in the cloud?
No. Your learning progress is stored only on your device. If you delete the app, that progress is removed with it.
How does the speaking feature work?
Speech recognition runs on your iPhone, not on a server. The app reads the correct sentence aloud in Russian using the system voice, so you can listen and repeat.
What does Pro include?
Pro unlocks the full set of exercises and levels. The free version lets you try the core practice first. Purchases are handled by Apple, and you can restore them on a new device from the Pro screen.
How do I cancel a subscription or request a refund?
Subscriptions are managed in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.
I found a wrong sentence or translation. What do I do?
Use the report button in the app, or email us with the sentence. Every reported item is checked by hand before we change it.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app to remove all locally stored progress. We do not hold an account for you. For anything else, see the Privacy Policy or email us.
